The N.A.S.H.D.A World Shed Hunting Dog Champions crowned
Shed hunting dogs from all across the U.S. gathered in
Northfield, Minnesota on April 21st and 22nd to compete
in the N.A.S.H.D.A World Shed Hunting Dog Championships sponsored by Purina,
Kolpin Outdoors and Evolved harvest.
Taking top honors in the open and amateur class was Win Mitchell with
his Labrador “Dutchess” from Northfield, Minnesota.
This is the first time both honors have been
won by the same dog and handler team.
Runner up in the Amateur and Open class was Tiffany Lakosky with her
Labrador “Tank” from Salem, Iowa. Top
honors in the Junior class was Linda Profant with her Labrador “Kyah” from
Keosauqua, Iowa. Runner up in the Junior
class was Aaron Seitz with his Labrador “Digger” from Ypsilant, Michigan.
